Canon and the Red Cross
Together we are helping to improve the lives of vulnerable children across Europe.
Our relationship with the Red Cross is one of the ways we put our corporate philosophy of Kyosei – ‘Living and working together for the common good’ into action. Together, we are helping to improve the lives of vulnerable children across Europe and providing them with someone to turn to. We are instilling humanitarian values and teaching life skills to help them build brighter futures.
Local projects that we have supported include:
- Teaching children and young people life-saving
- Providing psychosocial support or counselling
- Promoting gender equality
- Teaching road safety
Since 2006, Canon Europe and the Canon National Sales Offices across Europe have donated over €4.3 million to European Red Cross Societies and reached over one million children and young people across Europe.
