We’ve updated uniFLOW Online, our cloud-based output management solution, to support productive document workflows, regardless of location. Perfect for Purchasing, HR, Accounts teams or any department looking to streamline its workflow, new uniFLOW Online 2020.2 allows workers to manage documents more easily through the cloud by building greater automation into the platform. This reduces the administrative burden on employees and opportunity for error, saving on valuable business time and resource. 

The latest version of the software, available with the imageRUNNER ADVANCE portfolio, now offers Filing Assist, which can automatically identify and file scanned documents. Details of the scan, like the document type or company, are extracted at the point of digitisation and instantly name and save it to the right cloud location. Using machine learning, the software can also learn to recognise common business documents to support faster automatic filing next time.

New A4 model supports changing workspace

Building on the successful introduction of our digital transformation enabling A3 range, we are also announcing the completion of our upgraded imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX portfolio with the launch of our A4 models – the imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX C477 series, C257/C357 series and 716/617/527 series*. Continuing to deliver a consistent user experience across the full range, these new devices are part of our commitment to evolve our portfolio beyond pure print and scan technology, creating adaptable hubs for digital transformation, wherever you are in your journey and whatever your workspace set up. The small footprint of the A4 models offers greater flexibility within your fleet without compromising on productivity.  Perfect as a dedicated departmental device, for downsized central office spaces or local collaboration hubs, print and digital are seamlessly integrated wherever your team needs to be.  

Unified Firmware Platform continues to underpin innovation

The full imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX range will now also benefit from the 3.11 update to our Unified Firmware Platform, delivering the latest security and connectivity credentials, as well as compatibility with Universal Print by Microsoft. Our Unified Firmware Platform is at the heart of all our imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX devices and allows for regular upgrades to our technology for both new and existing customers in line with market needs.
