United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, 19 December 2023 – CFH, a multi-channel communications specialist, has recently invested in Canon’s varioPRINT iX3200, to replace its older toner printers. This robust and reliable printer will enable CFH to enjoy the benefits of inkjet technology, with exceptional quality output and high productivity to future-proof the business.
CFH invests in Canon’s varioPRINT iX3200 to enhance production workflows without compromising on quality
CFH, which has built a reputation for providing high-quality print and mail applications to over 30,000 customers across a variety of sectors, has increased its production capabilities at its factory in Radstock, Somerset. The company offers a high-class print and mail service, producing and delivering over 66.3 million postal packs this year to-date. Therefore, the top priorities for CFH when selecting the varioPRINT iX3200 were performance reliability and media versatility. Canon’s inkjet digital press will enable CFH to enhance its production workflow and equip the company with the tools to grow its business.
The varioPRINT iX3200 will complement the existing Canon ColorStream 6900 device. Together, they will not only improve the quality of their products but will enable CFH to reduce its fleet size in line with the company’s digital transformation goals and enhance its web 2 print offering. Having already installed and witnessed the exceptional results of the iX3200 at the company’s factory in Scotland, CFH is confident that this inkjet power tool can deliver the output of several toner-based machines, with a positive ROI to back this up.
Thanks to Canon iX technologies, which facilitate reliable high-speed inkjet printing, CFH has been able to enjoy a running speed of 320 images per minute and an average uptime of over 90%. This means that CFH are assured of high productivity and reliability during busy periods. Additionally, cost efficiency and sustainability have been key considerations during this installation process, with the iX3200 consolidating production to reduce base image cost and overheads including energy usage. This will enable the business to take its print services to the next level for its customers and continue to meet their ever-evolving needs.
Steve Cray, Group Production Director, CFH comments: “We’re delighted to continue our long-standing relationship with Canon and continue to invest in commercial printing platforms. In turn, we receive the best in class, high-quality services over a wide variety of media applications. Our Canon devices are proven to deliver high levels of productivity and a positive ROI, along with continuous, excellent customer service support provided from Canon”.
Stuart Rising, Head of Commercial Print at Canon UK & Ireland, adds: “We value our continued partnership with CFH, and are excited to see how they are utilising Canon technology to level up their customer service, and optimise their operation across all areas of business. The implementation of the varioPRINT iX3200, will enable the business to reach the next level of digital productivity, giving it the capacity to work with new and existing markets.”
