With a 4-stop Image Stabilizer¹, f/8 maximum aperture and a lightweight magnesium alloy body, this incredible 1200mm telephoto lens offers handheld control with the ultimate in image quality making it a stunning wildlife photography lens that is also excellent at capturing sports and surveillance targets, too. Thanks to superb Canon engineering, extraordinary new levels of detail are possible – even when your subject is far away; that’s because the telephoto’s L-series design puts priority on usability, made even better by a minimum focus distance of just 4.3 m, which allows subjects to be tracked over a greater range of distances.
