From camera settings to fieldcraft, come listen in to Dave Newton as he offers some advice and thoughts on how you can improve your pictures of wildlife - whether it’s tiny wee beasties with a macro lens, or the biggest creatures on the planet with Blue Whales.

Wednesday 18th August

Oliver is an established nature photographer and will talk through the UK wildlife he focuses on through the year, almost like a wildlife calendar. He will cover his favourite species, when and where to find them, and tips on how to photograph them. He will use his imagery with the talk and cover a number of species such as birds, otters, reptiles and his specialist subject macro.

Thursday 19th August

Join Canon Ambassador Chris Fallows as he talks about some of his favourite images from over 25 years working with wildlife in Africa and photographing some of the worlds most iconic species. He will discuss some different but easy to apply techniques, a few tips and a couple stories behind his best photographs.

In this talk, David uses a mixture of stills and video to cover the equipment he uses, before telling the stories behind some of his favourite shoots; sharks, crocodiles, turtles and diving gannets.
